Question by: Hugh B on Nov 11, 2025, 1:30 PM
Running a skid steer brush cutter pretty hard most of the season. Does this motor have enough torque to hold up in that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 13, 2025, 8:22 AM
235 Newton metres of torque puts it well within range for brush cutter and skid steer attachment work. That rating, combined with the cast iron housing, makes it a solid fit for the kind of sustained load those attachments throw at a motor. The 2000 Series Disc Geroler design is also known for being the lowest pressure drop motor in its class, so you're not bleeding off energy unnecessarily under load.

Will this motor hold up on a skid steer running a brush cutter attachment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 26, 2025, 7:42 AM
Cast iron construction makes this Char-Lynn motor well-suited for harsh conditions like those you'd find using a brush cutter on a skid steer.
