This Eaton Aeroquip Socket is a female half quick disconnect coupling designed for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications. Constructed from carbon steel with NBR+AU seals, it features a sleeve lock safety mechanism and a flat face internal connection.

This coupling is suitable for use in construction, agriculture, utility, and on-highway vehicles, as well as stationary in-plant hydraulic systems. The push-to-connect design allows for quick connection and disconnection without special tools. It exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressures and is REACH and RoHS compliant, meeting European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23 EC Article 3.3 standards. The female NPT end size is 0.75 inches, and it offers a flow rate of 30.1 gallons per minute, with a torque rating of 48.3 lb/ft. It is also interchangeable with HTMA couplings in the 3/8” size. Minimum working temperature is -13 degrees Fahrenheit.

Will this Eaton coupling work with other brands that meet the ISO 16028 standard?

This socket exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressures, so it should interchange just fine with other HTMA couplings in the 3/8” size.

does this socket work with NPT fittings or do I need an adapter to hook it up

The port on the back end of this socket is 3/4 inch NPT, so it threads straight into standard NPT fittings without any adapter needed. The connect side is push-to-connect flat face, which mates up and locks with a sleeve lock mechanism. No special tools required to make or break the connection.

got a 3/8 flat face setup on a skid steer, is this socket gonna swap in with those HTMA style couplers

For 3/8 inch size flat face connections, this FF Series female half is listed as interchangeable with HTMA couplings. It is a flat face, push to connect socket with a sleeve lock.
