Question by: Ray W on Oct 21, 2025, 8:01 PM
fitting says "general purpose low and medium pressure", does that mean I shouldn't run it on anything with pressure spikes or shock loads?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 7:41 AM
Correct. For systems where pressure spikes or shock hazards are a regular concern, Aeroquip recommends using H277 or H435 series fittings instead. This 1A series Komatsu split flange is rated for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic use, so if your application runs steady and predictable, you're in good shape. Anything with frequent shock loading calls for a different fitting family.

got a -10 hose in the shop, is this fitting meant for that dash size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 2, 2025, 7:40 AM
The hose dash size on this part is -10, and it is a 1A Series crimp hose fitting assembly.
