Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic systems, this carbon steel flange fitting from Eaton Aeroquip connects a -12 hose end to a SAE Code 61 four-bolt flange port in a straight configuration. Part of the Aeroquip 1A Series crimp hose fittings, the FTNG (PERM), 61-Flange is built for permanent crimp assembly and suited to a wide range of industrial hydraulic applications. Where shock hazards are a concern, Eaton recommends pairing with H277 or H435 hose.
Dura-Kote plating provides corrosion resistance across demanding service environments. The fitting is system-engineered to extend hose assembly service life and minimize downtime. Manufactured at Eaton's Van Wert, Ohio facility, this fitting weighs 0.89 lb and measures 2 inches in width. Fluid compatibility data is available through Eaton's published documentation for application verification.

got an Aeroquip 1A20FL12 here, that’s a straight Code 61 flange fitting for a -12 hose, right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 16, 2025, 8:08 PM
For general purpose low to medium pressure hydraulic work, the 1A20FL12 is an Aeroquip 1A Series crimp hose fitting with an SAE Code 61 flange end, and it’s set up for a -12 hose dash size.

what's the corrosion protection like on this fitting? running equipment outside and rust has been a real problem with other brands we've tried
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 18, 2025, 7:53 PM
Eaton Aeroquip puts a Dura-Kote plating on these fittings specifically to hold up against corrosion better than standard plated steel. For outdoor or exposed setups where moisture is a constant issue, that coating gives you meaningfully better service life compared to plain carbon steel fittings without it.
