What kind of hydraulic applications is this fitting good for? I'm not dealing with anything too crazy.

It's best suited for general-purpose low and medium-pressure hydraulic systems. If you're dealing with potential shock hazards, you'd be better off with H277 or H435 series hoses.

what's the material on these fittings? trying to figure out if they'll hold up in a wet environment without rusting out on me
