AEROQUIP MM FTG

Description & Features

Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, this Eaton Aeroquip 1A Series crimp hose fitting connects a ½-inch BSPT male tapered thread end to a -8 dash size hose end. Constructed from carbon steel, it is finished with Dura-Kote plating to provide reliable corrosion resistance in demanding service environments.

The Aeroquip MM Ftg is part of a system-engineered fitting series built to extend hose assembly service life and support maximum uptime. Where shock hazards are a factor, Aeroquip H277 or H435 series fittings are recommended as alternatives. Fluid compatibility documentation is available from Eaton for reference when selecting fittings for specific media.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Glen R on Feb 15, 2026, 2:52 PM
what material is this fitting made out of, and does it hold up decent in environments where corrosion is a concern?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 16, 2026, 6:07 PM
Carbon steel construction with a Dura-Kote plating finish. That coating is specifically there to push back against corrosion, so for general purpose hydraulic work it holds up well. It's part of what Aeroquip built into this 1A Series line to keep assemblies running longer between replacements.
