What hoses is this Aeroquip fitting meant to run with, and does it matter if there's shock in the line?

For general low and medium pressure hydraulic work, it pairs fine with standard hoses. Where you've got shock hazards in the system, you'll want to run it with either H277 or H435 hose. That's not just a suggestion either, it's the specified pairing for those conditions, so it's worth making sure you've got the right hose on hand before you build out the assembly.
