Aeroquip Misc. Fittings & Adapters

Description & Features

Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, this carbon steel Male SAE Inverted Flare Swivel 90° Elbow fitting is part of Eaton Aeroquip's 1A Series crimp hose fitting line. It connects to a -6 dash size hose and features a 0.5-inch male inverted flare end, making it well suited for routing hose assemblies at right angles in space-constrained installations.

The Aeroquip Misc. Fittings & Adapters component is finished with Dura-Kote plating, providing strong resistance to corrosion in demanding service environments. Where shock hazards are a concern, Aeroquip recommends pairing with H277 or H435 hose series. The system-engineered design supports extended hose assembly service life and consistent performance under sustained operating conditions.

Question by: Ralph G on Nov 13, 2025, 12:44 PM
Got a hose assembly that needs to make a 90-degree turn in a pretty tight spot. This a -6 dash size fitting, or do I need to double-check that before ordering?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 14, 2025, 3:13 PM
it's a -6 dash size hose fitting. The 90-degree swivel elbow design is specifically built for situations where you're working in tight quarters and need to change direction without putting a hard bend in the hose. The male end is a 0.5-inch inverted flare, so just make sure that matches up with what you're connecting to on the other side and you should be good to go.
Question by: Judy K on Dec 19, 2025, 9:32 PM
reckon this fitting will hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees some pretty good jolts and bumps?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 21, 2025, 6:17 AM
For systems prone to shock, Eaton Aeroquip advises using this fitting with their H277 or H435 hose series.

got a tight spot on a hose run, is this the kind of 90 elbow that helps you turn the line without kinking stuff up
Answer by: Customer Support on May 12, 2025, 6:01 AM
For right angle routing in cramped installs, it’s a 90 degree male SAE inverted flare swivel elbow made to turn a hose assembly cleanly where you do not have room for a straight fitting.
