Will this swivel fitting hold up if it's constantly exposed to hydraulic fluid and high temps?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 11, 2026, 3:47 PM
Crafted from 316 stainless steel, this swivel fitting offers excellent resistance to corrosion and extreme temperatures, ensuring durability in harsh environments.
Question by: Eddie E on Jun 20, 2025, 9:02 PM
Part says 316 stainless steel, that hold up alright in wet or high-humidity setups, or is it gonna start giving me trouble after a while?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 22, 2025, 7:45 AM
316 stainless steel is one of the better choices for wet and high-humidity environments. It carries stronger corrosion resistance than standard 304 SS, mostly because of the added molybdenum content, which helps it hold up against moisture, mild chemicals, and temperature swings. For industrial fluid systems where conditions get rough, this grade tends to stay reliable longer than lesser materials would.

need a swivel fitting that wont rust up on me, is this one stainless?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 2:56 PM
Built from 316 stainless steel, it is a good pick when corrosion resistance matters and you are dealing with harsher fluid system environments.
