The 1CEB90 Series Counterbalance Cartridge Valve offers precise motion control for hydraulic actuators in demanding applications. Ideal for use in harvesters, refuse haulers, and various mobile and industrial settings, this Danfoss/Eaton valve provides static and dynamic load management.

This screw-in cartridge valve has an adjustable range of 2900 - 5075 PSI, with a factory setting at 3000 PSI. The valve features a 4:1 pilot ratio and a maximum relief pressure of 350 bar. Designed for a rated flow of 23 gpm, it ensures reliable performance within a temperature range of -22°F to +194°F.

This counterbalance valve offers interchangeability with pilot check valves of similar size, the pressure-balanced design allows for use in regenerative or proportional valve systems. runs about 23 gpm through our cylinder circuit and we been having runaway issues on the downstroke. this valve rated to handle that flow?

23 GPM is exactly the rated flow for this cartridge, so you're right at the ceiling but within spec. The counterbalance function is what addresses your runaway concern. When installed on the outlet side of the actuator, it holds a set backpressure against the load so the cylinder can't move faster than the pump is feeding it. Factory setting comes in at 3000 PSI, adjustable anywhere from 2900 up to 5075 PSI with the screw adjustment if your circuit needs something different. Just make sure it goes in close-coupled to the actuator, not downstream in the line, or you lose the hose-burst protection benefit entirely.

got a 1CEB90F35S4 already, is this the same counterbalance cartridge or am i mixing up models
