Question by: Hubert A on Oct 23, 2025, 9:09 PM
What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting come with? We run equipment outside year-round and rust is always a fight.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 25, 2025, 8:31 PM
Carbon steel fittings in outdoor environments can wear out fast without the right coating. This one uses Dura-Kote plating, which is specifically built to hold up against corrosion better than standard finishes. It's a meaningful upgrade if you're dealing with moisture, humidity, or anything that tends to eat through cheaper hardware over time.

got a -6 hose im crimpin up, is this fitting the right dash size for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 23, 2025, 11:48 AM
For a -6 hose, the hose dash size on this fitting is also listed as -6, so it matches that hose size.
