The steel-constructed valve features a direct acting pilot-assisted relief style efficiently preventing load runaway. It is designed for a three-valve port configuration requiring 33 ft-lbs torque cartridge installation in a T11A Sun cavity or housing with no restrictions on mounting positions. This counterbalance valve guarantees optimal performance with a recommended filtration level of 18/16/13 microns and a leakage rate of 0.25 cc/min. Handling up to 4000 PSI of load-induced pressure and 5000 PSI of maximum relief pressure it operates within temperatures of -22F to +194F.

Got a harvester sittin' idle right now because the load keeps running away on me. This the kind of valve that'd fix that?

Load runaway is exactly what the 1SE30 series was built to stop. It works as a counterbalance valve, meaning it holds the load in place until pilot pressure from the opposite side of the circuit tells it to release in a controlled way. The 5:1 pilot ratio on this particular unit is the standard selection for applications where the load varies, which fits harvester work pretty well. Factory pressure is set at 3045 PSI out of the box, and it's adjustable anywhere from 1015 to 5075 PSI using the screw and locknut if your system needs something different. It also gives you hose burst protection, so if a line lets go, the load stays put rather than dropping free.
