This Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton 1VR200 Series pilot-operated spool type relief cartridge valve is designed to limit pressure. The valve is suitable for continuous duty and accurate pressure control with constant or varying flows. It's ventable, internally pilot operated, and is designed to limit pressure in a system.

This cartridge valve features a 145-3045 PSI screw adjustment range, with a maximum flow rate of 52 GPM and a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI (CAUTION: Pressures over 3000 PSI require steel housing). It is made with nitrile seals and requires a 18/16/13 microns filtration level. Applications include harvesters and refuse haulers, as well as other mobile and industrial applications. This is a cartridge only unit that requires cavity size A16102, sold separately.

runs continuously on a refuse hauler, will this cartridge hold up or is it gonna have issues with heat and pressure over time?

Continuous duty is well within what this valve is built for. The 1VR200 is internally pilot operated and rated for up to 5000 PSI with a max flow of 52 GPM, and it's specifically noted as good for continuous duty with accurate pressure control across constant or varying flows. Refuse hauler applications are listed right in the intended use for this series, so it fits that environment without issue.

So, this here's just the cartridge, right? I gotta get the housing separate?

That's correct. This is the cartridge valve only; the housing (cavity size A16102) is sold separately.
