2.5PB Series Aluminum Gear Pump, 1.68 cu in/rev, 2-Bolt SAE B Mounting Flange, 7/8 13T Splined SAE B Shaft, SAE -16 Side Inlet, SAE -12 Side Outlet, CW Rotation
This gear pump is engineered by Salami S.p.A for demanding industrial applications. Designed for exceptional efficiency it features a displacement of 1.68 cu in/rev and operates at a continuous speed up to 3000 RPM. The robust construction includes a 2-bolt SAE B mounting flange and a 7/8 13T splined SAE B shaft.
Pressure limits are rigorously tested with an inlet pressure range from 7.38 in. Hg to 21.7 PSI and peak pressures reaching up to 4300 PSI. Its high-pressure performance is further supported by DU bearings.
Recommended for use with fluids having a viscosity in the range of 85 SUS to 297 SUS ensuring optimal function across varied conditions. This pump supports SAE -16 side inlet and SAE -12 side outlet ports.
The rotational direction is clockwise by default but can be adjusted by modifying the drive shaft and front flange orientation. Salami gear pumps maintain high volumetric efficiency through axial compensation with floating bushings.
Temperature ranges are flexible accommodating -4deg;F to 230deg;F with FPM seals. This versatility makes it a reliable component in any hydraulic system.

reckon this'll bolt right up to a standard SAE B flange setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 30, 2025, 12:39 PM
This pump uses a 2-bolt SAE B mounting flange, so it should fit directly onto any compatible equipment. The shaft is a standard 7/8 13T splined SAE B type.
Question by: Ralph F on Sep 12, 2025, 12:45 PM
pump says clockwise rotation standard -- can that be changed if my setup needs it to run the other way?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 14, 2025, 6:55 AM
Rotation can be switched by reversing the position of the drive shaft and driven shaft and rotating the front flange. It's not a permanent configuration, so if your system calls for counterclockwise you're not stuck buying a different unit. Just make sure the change is made correctly before installation since running it backwards without the proper adjustment will cause problems fast.
