Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits requiring reliable fixed-displacement flow, the 2.5PB Series Aluminum Gear Pump, 1.53 cu in/rev, 2-Bolt SAE B Mounting Flange, 7/8 Straight Keyed SAE B Shaft, SAE -16 Side Inlet, SAE -12 Side Outlet, CW Rotation is a single-unit pump from Salami Hydraulics built around a lightweight aluminum housing with a continuous working pressure rating of 3,600 PSI and peak capability up to 4,300 PSI.

At 3,000 RPM, this pump delivers a rated flow of 11.8 GPM through SAE -16 side inlet and SAE -12 side outlet ports. Floating bushings provide axial compensation that maintains high volumetric efficiency across the working pressure range, while DU bearings support high-pressure capability. Standard Buna-N seals cover a temperature range of -4°F to 185°F; Viton seal options extend the upper limit to 230°F. Normal operating viscosity falls between 85 and 297 SUS. Clockwise rotation is standard, and shaft or flange configurations are available to match European, German, and American standards. The pump is also available in multiple-unit combinations with other series sizes.

pump's only rated for clockwise rotation -- can that be swapped out if my setup runs counterclockwise?

Rotation can be changed on this pump by reversing the positions of the drive shaft and driven shaft and rotating the front flange. It ships standard with clockwise rotation, so if your system runs the other direction, you'd just need to make that adjustment during installation. No separate pump model required for CCW applications.

Will this pump work okay with regular hydraulic fluid?

This Salami pump is rated to work with hydraulic fluids within a viscosity range of 66 to 3635 SUS, with the normal operating range being 85 to 297 SUS.
