2-Ear Pinch Clamp, Zinc Plated Steel, 0.433 - 0.512 Inch Clamping Range, 0.276 Inch Width

Description & Features

Designed for industrial environments, this Oetiker clamp offers a reliable seal ideal for heavy vibrating equipment. It is installed on air, fluid, gas, and steam lines, providing a tamper-proof solution without damaging hoses.

Constructed from zinc-plated steel, it features a clamping range of 0.433 to 0.512 inches and a nominal width of 0.276 inches. The two-ear design ensures a resilient hold against pressure, vibration, and hose shrinkage due to aging or temperature changes.

For optimal performance, close one ear completely before partially closing the second. This builds spring-like strength into the clamp. If both ears close completely, consider using a smaller size.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Cindy B on Feb 15, 2026, 3:32 PM
Got a half-inch hose fitting I need to clamp down on an air line that sees a good bit of vibration. Will this clamp hold up to that kind of punishment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 17, 2026, 10:14 AM
Zinc-plated steel construction and the two-ear pinch design make this clamp well-suited for exactly that kind of application. The way these work, you close the first ear all the way, then bring the second ear down until the first opens back up just slightly, about a 1/16 inch gap. That sequence builds a spring-like tension into the clamp so it stays tight even as vibration cycles and the hose material shifts over time. Oetiker specifically calls out heavy vibrating equipment as one of the primary use cases for this design, so you're in good shape there.
