2-Ear Pinch Clamp, Stainless, 0.512 - 0.592 Inch Clamping Range, 0.295 Inch Width

Description & Features

This precision-engineered Oetiker Inc. pinch clamp offers a secure and durable solution, featuring a 0.512 - 0.592 inch clamping range and a 0.295 inch width. Manufactured from stainless steel, this clamp ensures long-lasting performance even in challenging industrial environments.

Designed specifically for use with air, fluid, gas, and steam lines, the one-piece design provides a tamper-proof seal that prevents hose damage. The clamp is particularly suitable for applications involving heavy vibrating equipment, offering resilient strength to withstand pressure, vibration, and hose shrinkage due to temperature fluctuations or aging.

During installation, it is recommended to close one ear completely before closing the second ear slightly. This method builds a spring-like action into the clamp, enhancing its hold. If both ears close completely, consider using a smaller clamp size.

Question by: Stan W on Nov 2, 2025, 5:59 PM
got a hose sitting right at about .55 inches diameter, this clamp gonna get a solid grip on that or is it too close to the middle of the range to matter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 4, 2025, 8:38 AM
Right in the sweet spot, actually. The clamping range on this one runs from 0.512 to 0.592 inches, so 0.55 puts you near the middle with room on both sides. That's generally where you get the most consistent compression. One thing worth knowing on installation, close the first ear all the way down before you touch the second one. Then bring the second ear in until the first opens back up just a hair, roughly a sixteenth of an inch. That spring-like tension is what keeps it locked down against pressure swings and vibration over time.

Tell us what you need and we'll get back to you.
