Reckon this clamp would work alright on a fuel line for my old tractor? Needs to hold up, gets pretty bumpy out in the fields.

These clamps are especially suited for industrial use, including equipment that vibrates a lot. They’re often used on lines carrying fluids, so it should be a good fit for a fuel line, giving you a positive, tamper-proof seal.

Got a hose that measures right around 15/16 inch outside diameter. Will this clamp size work or am I gonna be chasing my tail trying to make it fit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 2:41 PM
For a hose sitting right around 15/16 inch, you're in good shape. The clamping range runs from 0.866 to 0.984 inch, so anything in that neighborhood falls right in the middle of what this clamp is built for. One thing worth knowing though: if you close both ears completely and there's no resistance, the clamp is probably too big and you'd want to drop down a size. A properly fitted clamp should still have a little spring tension left in it after installation.
