Constructed from brass with Dura-Kote plating for superior corrosion resistance, the Danfoss / Eaton Adpt 1/8 Mp 6 M Sae is a straight adapter designed to connect a 1/8" NPTF male thread to a 5/8" SAE 45° male flare end. This configuration makes it well suited for hydraulic lines where a transition between pipe thread and 45-degree flare fittings is required.

Manufactured by Eaton Aeroquip under the 2000 Series, this adapter meets SAE J514 and SAE 010102 certifications and is rated for higher operating pressures above standard SAE requirements. That's correct, this Eaton Aeroquip adapter is designed to connect a 1/8 inch NPTF male pipe thread to a 6/16 (0.625 inch) SAE 45-degree male flare.

what's this adapter made out of, and will it hold up in a wet or outdoor environment?
