Question by: Glen B on Aug 27, 2025, 8:32 AM
got a 1/4 nptf male port and need to go over to an 8 size 45 degree flare, is that what this adapter is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 28, 2025, 5:06 PM
For a pipe to flare hookup, it matches that layout. One end is 1/4 inch NPTF male and the other end is an SAE 45 degree male flare in size 8, so it is meant to bridge those two connection types in a straight adapter.
Question by: Kent T on Dec 18, 2025, 6:10 PM
does this thing work for connecting 1/4 inch pipe thread to a SAE 45 flare line, or am I looking at the wrong part
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 20, 2025, 3:03 PM
That's what it's built for. One end is 1/4 inch NPTF male and the other is 3/4 inch SAE 45 degree male, so it bridges those two thread types in a straight configuration. Brass construction and Dura-Kote plating help it hold up in environments where corrosion is a concern.
