DANFOSS / EATON ADPT 1/2 MP 10 M SAE

Description & Features

Constructed from brass with Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance, this straight adapter connects a 1/2" NPTF male end to a 10M SAE 45° male end, making it well-suited for hydraulic lines requiring a reliable pipe-to-flare transition. The Danfoss / Eaton Adpt 1/2 Mp 10 M Sae is part of the Eaton Aeroquip 2000 Series and is rated to perform above standard SAE pressure thresholds, with a minimum working temperature of -65°F.

Certified to SAE J514 and SAE 010102, this adapter meets recognized industry standards for hydraulic fittings. The brass construction supports compatibility across a wide range of hydraulic fluid types, and the Dura-Kote finish provides added durability in demanding service environments.

Question by: Jimmy C on Jul 11, 2025, 7:12 AM
Will this fitting hold up to high pressure in a hydraulic system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 12, 2025, 2:20 PM
Dura-Kote plating gives this adapter superior corrosion resistance, and it's designed for higher operating pressures than standard SAE requirements.
Question by: Phil M on Dec 19, 2025, 10:35 AM
got a job that needs 1/2 male pipe on one side and a 45 flare on the other. is that what this adapter is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 20, 2025, 9:54 PM
It’s a straight adapter built exactly for that hookup, with a 1/2 NPTF male end on one side and a 10 size SAE 45 degree male flare on the other.
Question by: Keith A on Oct 11, 2025, 9:18 PM
does this adapter go from pipe thread on one end to a 45 flare fitting on the other, or am i reading the specs wrong
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 13, 2025, 7:24 PM
That's what you've got. One end is 1/2 inch NPTF male pipe thread, and the other is a 10 M SAE 45 degree male flare. So if you're connecting a pipe thread port to a 45 degree flare line, this is the piece that bridges that gap. Both ends are male, so keep that in mind when you're planning your fitting stack.
