Description & Features

Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series Disc Geroler Standard is engineered for reliability and performance in demanding applications such as swing motors brush cutters & mowers and harvesting equipment. Featuring a highly-efficient Geroler design this motor ensures energy savings and industry-leading pressure drop performance.

With a displacement of 11.90 cu in/rev this motor offers a torque rating of 540 newton metres making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks. The 2 Bolt SAE A mounting flange and 1 in. straight keyed shaft provide secure and stable attachment.

Ports are designed with 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring for optimal fluid handling. It operates efficiently with a fluid viscosity range of 100-200 SUS and maintains performance at a maximum operating temperature of 180F. To ensure longevity follow the recommended break-in procedure and use premium quality anti-wear hydraulic fluid.

The motor's maximum case pressure is rated at 2000 PSI; for continuous back pressure above this an external case drain line is advised. Adhering to recommended filtration per ISO Cleanliness Code at level 18/13 will further enhance the motor's lifespan.

been running a brush cutter setup and need something that'll hold up to continuous heavy load, does this motor have any kind of break-in requirement before I throw it straight to full pressure?

Running it at about 30% of rated pressure for the first hour before putting it under full load is the recommended break-in procedure. Make sure the motor is filled with fluid before any load gets applied. Skipping that step can shorten the motor's life, especially on something like a brush cutter where you're hitting it hard right out of the gate.
