2000 Series Geroler Motor, 8.00 cu in/rev, 2 Bolt SAE A Mounting Flange, 1-1/4 in. Straight Keyed Shaft, 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring Ports,

Description & Features

The Danfoss Power Solutions 2000 Series Geroler Motor features an 8.00 cu in/rev displacement alongside a 1-1/4 in. straight keyed shaft. With its 2 bolt SAE A mounting flange this model ensures secure and durable installation. The 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring ports are staggered facilitating efficient fluid connection and operation.

Engineered with standard wheel or bearingless configurations it offers the lowest pressure drop in the industry. The highly efficient Geroler motor is designed for applications such as swing motors brush cutters mowers and harvesting equipment. This unit's torque rating stands at 385 newton metres ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions.

Recommended to operate with premium quality anti-wear hydraulic fluid the motor's design supports a maximum case pressure of 2000 PSI without a case drain. For continuous back pressure over 2000 PSI utilizing an external case drain line is advised. It operates best within a fluid viscosity range of 100-200 SUS and a maximum operating temperature of 180 F.

To optimize motor life a break-in period running at 30% of rated pressure for approximately one hour is recommended. Filtration per ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13 is suggested for maintaining optimal performance.

got a motor mount already drilled for a 2 bolt SAE A, is this one gonna bolt right up without me having to get creative
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 5, 2026, 6:32 AM
It uses a 2 bolt SAE A mounting flange and a 1-1/4 inch straight keyed shaft, so it matches setups built around that flange pattern and shaft style.

Running this on a brush cutter setup and trying to figure out if it needs a case drain line or if I can just run it straight. What's the cutoff where that becomes necessary?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 11, 2026, 5:39 PM
Up to 2000 PSI back pressure, you can run it without a case drain and be fine. Once you're pushing continuous back pressure beyond that 2000 PSI threshold, you'll want to add an external case drain line. When you do run that drain line, make sure it's installed so the motor case stays full of fluid at all times. That's not just a suggestion, it keeps the internals protected and prevents premature wear.
