2000 Series Geroler Motor, 11.90 cu in/rev, 2 Bolt SAE A Mounting Flange, 1-1/4 in. Straight Keyed Shaft, 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring Ports,

Description & Features

The Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series Disc Geroler Standard motor is designed for applications such as swing motors brush cutters mowers and harvesting equipment. It offers a displacement of 11.90 cu in/rev ensuring optimal performance in demanding environments. Featuring a 2 Bolt SAE A mounting flange this motor provides reliable and secure installation.

The motor is equipped with a 1-1/4 in. straight keyed shaft and 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring ports. Operating at a maximum case pressure of 2000 PSI it requires premium quality anti-wear type hydraulic fluid. The Geroler motor configuration delivers high efficiency and energy savings with the lowest pressure drop in the industry.

It operates with a maximum temperature of 180 F and has a recommended fluid viscosity range of 100-200 SUS for maximum efficiency. For extended motor life a break-in period of approximately one hour at 30% of rated pressure is recommended before full load application.

Features include standard wheel or bearingless configurations making it adaptable for various industrial needs. Adherence to ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13 is recommended for optimal filtration.

Question by: Wade W on May 20, 2025, 6:49 PM
what kind of hydraulic fluid does this motor take, and is there a viscosity range I should stay in for best results?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 21, 2025, 8:23 PM
Premium quality anti-wear type hydraulic fluid is what this motor calls for. For best efficiency, keep viscosity in the 100 to 200 SUS range at operating temperature. The floor is 70 SUS, so running thinner than that isn't recommended. Staying within that window helps protect the motor and keeps things running the way they should.
