The Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series Disc Geroler Standard motor delivers industry-leading performance with its highly-efficient design. It features a displacement of 18.7 cu in/rev and a robust 2 Bolt SAE A mounting flange ensuring a secure fit for heavy-duty applications. This motor is equipped with a SAE C Splined 14T shaft and 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-ring ports offering reliable torque transfer and fluid handling capabilities. The motor's standard configuration supports both wheel and bearingless setups.

Designed for use in swing motors brush cutters mowers and harvesting equipment this geroler motor boasts one of the lowest pressure drops in the industry enhancing energy savings. The motor operates efficiently with a fluid viscosity range of 100-200 SUS and can withstand a maximum case pressure of 2000 PSI without an external case drain. For optimal performance a recommended break-in period of one hour at 30% of rated pressure is advised before reaching full load.

This motor features a torque rating of 765 Nm and is designed to operate at a maximum temperature of 180 F. Using premium quality anti-wear hydraulic fluid ensures longevity and efficiency. Adhering to ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13 for filtration is recommended.

Does this motor need an external case drain, or can it handle back pressure on its own?

Up to 2000 PSI, no external case drain is needed. If your system runs continuous back pressure above that threshold, you'll want to add an external case drain line and make sure it's installed so the motor case stays full of fluid at all times. Below that limit, the motor handles it internally without any extra hydraulic connections.
