The Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series Disc Geroler Standard motor is engineered for applications such as swing motors brush cutters mowers and harvesting equipment. It features a 24.00 cu in/rev displacement and a 1-inch straight keyed shaft for secure coupling with your machinery. The motor's lowest pressure drop in the industry underscores its efficiency.

With its 2 Bolt SAE A mounting flange this motor facilitates easy installation. It supports a fluid viscosity within the recommended range of 100-200 SUS ensuring optimal performance. Its highly-efficient Geroler design offers significant energy savings.

Designed to handle a maximum operating temperature of 180 F it supports a 2000 PSI maximum case pressure without the need for an external case drain. O-Ring ports are staggered for convenient connection.

does this motor need an external case drain line, or is it good to go without one?

Up to 2000 PSI of continuous back pressure, no external case drain is needed. If your application pushes past that threshold on a sustained basis, you'll want to run an external drain line and make sure the motor case stays full of fluid at all times. For most swing motor and brush cutter setups running within that range, you're fine without it.
