2000 Series Geroler Motor, 24.00 cu in/rev, Wheel Motor Mounting Flange, 1-1/4 in. Tapered Shaft, 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring Ports,

Description & Features

This advanced hydraulic motor from Danfoss Power Solutions II LLC known as the Char-Lynn Hydraulic Motor offers a highly-efficient design with a 24 cu in/rev displacement. Perfect for applications such as swing motors brush cutters mowers and harvesting equipment it ensures industry leading performance.

Engineered with a wheel motor mounting flange and a 1-1/4 in. tapered shaft this motor features 7/8-14 St.Thd. O-Ring Ports. The Geroler technology incorporated provides significant energy savings and maintains a low pressure drop making it one of the most efficient motors in the industry.

Additional specifications include a maximum operating temperature of 180 F and a maximum case pressure of 2000 PSI without a case drain. It's recommended to break-in the motor at 30% of rated pressure for approximately one hour to ensure optimal longevity.

The motor is compatible with premium quality anti-wear type hydraulic fluids and should be maintained with filtration meeting ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13. Additionally it requires a minimum fluid viscosity of 70 SUS at operating temperature with an optimal range of 100-200 SUS.

Question by: Kurt M on Feb 10, 2026, 9:16 AM
been running a brush cutter setup and the motor on it finally gave out, does this 24 cu in displacement match up for that kind of application or is that more for bigger harvesting rigs?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 11, 2026, 10:06 AM
Brush cutters are actually one of the primary applications this motor was built around, so the fit there is solid. At 24 cubic inches per revolution with a 775 newton meter torque rating, it delivers the kind of sustained rotational force those cutters need without burning through energy. The Geroler design keeps pressure drop low compared to most motors in this class, which helps especially when you're running the cutter for long stretches. Just keep in mind the recommended fluid viscosity range is 100 to 200 SUS at operating temperature, and you'll want to run it in for about an hour at 30 percent of rated pressure before putting it to full load.

Will this hydraulic motor hold up if I'm runnin' it pretty steady, like most of the day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 21, 2025, 6:29 AM
This Char-Lynn motor is designed for efficiency and can handle continuous use, especially in applications like mowers or harvesting equipment. Breaking it in properly, running it at 30% of rated pressure for about an hour beforehand, will help ensure it lasts.
Question by: Tommy H on Oct 26, 2025, 12:52 PM
got a swing motor setup on a mower, would this 24 cu in motor be the right kind of unit for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 28, 2025, 6:24 AM
For swing motor work on brush cutters and mowers, this motor fits that type of application and it is built around a 24 cu in per rev displacement with a wheel motor mounting flange.
