The Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series Disc Geroler Bearingless motor featuring a displacement of 14.90 cu in/rev and a bearingless mounting flange is designed for high-efficiency energy savings. Its standard configuration includes .875-14 UNF-2B SAE O-Ring Ports for reliable fluid transfer.

This versatile motor is ideal for applications such as swing motors brush cutters & mowers and harvesting equipment. It delivers a torque rating of 660 newton meters while maintaining operational efficiency even under continuous back pressure up to a maximum 2000 PSI without the need for a case drain line.

Engineered for optimal performance it handles a maximum operating temperature of 180F with recommended fluid viscosities ranging from 70 SUS to 200 SUS. To maximize motor life perform a break-in process at 30% of rated pressure before applying full load. It also recommends adhering to a filtration level per the ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13.

Maintain the integrity of hydraulic functions with premium quality anti-wear type hydraulic fluid. Note that the recommended design code is 6 to ensure compatibility and performance.

got a mower swing motor that sees back pressure pretty regular. do i need to plumb in a case drain on this one or not

For continuous back pressure up to 2000 PSI, it can run without a case drain line. If your application is going to stay over 2000 PSI continuous back pressure, then you would add an external case drain line and route it so the motor case stays full at all times.
