Description & Features

Constructed from brass, this 1/8 in. NPTF female to 7/16 in. SAE 45° male straight adapter connects female pipe thread ends to 45-degree flare male fittings in a single inline configuration. Part of the Aeroquip 2001 Series from Danfoss / Eaton, it carries Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance that exceeds standard SAE requirements, making it well-suited for hydraulic systems exposed to demanding service conditions.

Rated for operating pressures above SAE standards, this brass adapter supports design flexibility across a wide range of hydraulic circuit configurations. The NPTF female end provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal without sealant, while the SAE 45° male end delivers reliable flare-style connections. Hundreds of compatible styles are available within the 2001 Series, allowing consistent fitting selection across varied system layouts.

Question by: Joyce W on Feb 15, 2026, 4:05 PM
Will this work to connect some hydraulic lines on my tractor? I need to go from a pipe thread to a flared fitting.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 17, 2026, 8:46 AM
Primarily, this adapter is designed to connect female pipe thread ends to 45-degree flare male fittings. The 1/8 in. NPTF female end gives you a pressure-tight mechanical seal without needing sealant, and the 7/16 in. SAE 45° male end makes for a reliable flare-style connection.
