This brass straight adapter connects a 3/8 in. NPTF female end to a 7/8 in. SAE 45° male flare, making it a reliable choice for hydraulic lines and fluid transfer systems where dissimilar thread types must be joined without additional fittings. Constructed from brass, the adapter provides solid performance across a wide range of industrial hydraulic applications.

fitting's made of brass right? just want to make sure before I order, had a steel one rust out on me last season
Answer by: Customer Support on May 27, 2025, 6:27 PM
Brass all the way through on this one. That material choice holds up a lot better in wet or corrosive environments compared to plain steel, and Eaton puts a Dura-Kote plating on it as an extra layer of protection against corrosion. For what it sounds like you're dealing with, that combination should serve you a good bit better than what you had before.

got a port that’s 3/8 NPTF female on the valve body. is this the one that adapts over to a 45 degree flare line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 29, 2025, 9:48 AM
For a 3/8 NPTF female connection going over to an SAE 45° male flare, that matches what this adapter is built for. It’s a straight adapter with an NPTF female end on one side and an SAE 45° male flare on the other.
