Danfoss / Eaton ADP ELB 1/4MP 6 M SAE

Description & Features

Constructed from brass, this 90° elbow adapter connects a 1/4" NPTF male thread to a 6 M SAE 45° male flare end, making it a practical solution for directional changes in hydraulic line routing where space or alignment constraints require an angled transition. The Danfoss / Eaton ADP ELB 1/4MP 6 M SAE belongs to Eaton Aeroquip's 2003 Series, a line engineered to perform above standard SAE pressure thresholds.

Dura-Kote plating provides corrosion resistance suited to demanding industrial environments. With a drop dimension of 0.98" and a product width of 0.47", the adapter is compact enough for tight installations. The 2003 Series spans hundreds of fitting styles, offering broad compatibility across hydraulic system configurations.

Question by: Freddie P on Dec 27, 2025, 3:19 PM
got a hose end that’s SAE 45 flare, but the port is 1/4 pipe. is this the elbow that ties those together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 29, 2025, 6:05 AM
For tying those two ends together at a right angle, this adapter matches a 1/4 NPTF male pipe thread on one side and a 6 size SAE 45° male flare on the other. It is a 90° elbow style, so it turns the connection without needing a straight fitting.
Question by: Keith E on Jan 19, 2026, 12:54 PM
does this thing connect 1/4 inch male pipe threads to a SAE 45 flare fitting, or am I reading the sizes wrong?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 21, 2026, 8:26 AM
You've got it right. One end is 1/4 inch NPTF male pipe thread and the other is a 5/8 inch SAE 45 degree male flare. The 90 degree elbow body lets you route the line at a right angle, which comes in handy when you're working in tight spots and need to change direction without bending the tubing too hard.
Question by: Jean T on Sep 15, 2025, 8:49 PM
Will this fitting hold up if I'm using it for hydraulics on a log splitter? Gotta make sure it can take the pressure.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 17, 2025, 6:39 AM
Designed for higher operating pressures than standard SAE requirements, this adapter should be suitable for log splitter hydraulic systems, but it's always wise to check your specific pressure needs against the component specifications to be absolutely certain.
