A straight adapter connecting 1/4 in. NPTF male to 7/16 in. SAE 37° female JIC threads, the Danfoss / Eaton ADP 1/4IN MP 4 F JIC WIN is built from carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating for reliable corrosion resistance across demanding service environments.

Certified to SAE J514, this adapter is suited for use in marine and military equipment, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and offshore drilling applications. It is rated for operating pressures above standard SAE thresholds and carries a minimum working temperature of -40°F.

what applications is this adapter actually rated for? got some offshore work coming up and want to make sure it'll hold up

Certified to SAE J514 and built with Dura-Kote plated carbon steel, this adapter is rated for offshore drilling along with marine and military equipment, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and food and beverage processing. The corrosion resistance from that plating is what makes it practical for harsh environments like offshore use where moisture and salt exposure are constant concerns.

got a hose with 1/4 NPTF male on it and need to tie into a JIC port, is this the right adapter?

For connecting those two thread types, it’s a straight adapter that goes from 1/4 in NPTF male on one end to a 7/16 in SAE 37 degree female JIC on the other.
