This carbon steel elbow adapter is part of the Danfoss / Eaton 2039 Series, designed to meet SAE 070201 standards. The DANFOSS / EATON #5 MJ X #5 MJ 90* features Dura-Kote plating, providing enhanced corrosion resistance for demanding applications.

With a 90-degree angle, this adapter offers design flexibility in marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and off-shore drilling applications. It has a minimum working temperature of -65 degrees. This adapter features a SAE 37° Male/SAE 37° Male connection, each with a 0.5 inch size.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm using it outside where it might get exposed to some chemicals?

Dura-Kote plating gives this elbow adapter enhanced corrosion resistance, so it should be suitable for chemical processing applications. It's also rated for marine, military, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and off-shore drilling environments.
