Description & Features

This Eaton Aeroquip adapter features a 90-degree elbow design and is constructed from zinc-plated carbon steel for superior corrosion resistance. This adapter offers design flexibility and higher operating pressures above SAE standards. It's suitable for use in marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and food and beverage applications, as well as off-shore drilling environments.

The fitting has one female NPSM swivel end and one female NPTF end, both with a size of 1 inch. The adapter meets SAE 140231 certifications. The hex size 2 measures 1.5 inches. It is designed for a minimum working temperature of -65 degrees.

trying to swap out an old elbow, is this one the kind with a swivel on one side and a regular female pipe on the other?

On this 2048 Series 90 degree elbow adapter, one end is a 1 inch NPSM female pipe swivel and the other end is a 1 inch NPTF female pipe. It is made for connecting those two female pipe styles in a right angle.
