got a hose end that’s G 3/4 - 14 BSPP and my port is 1/4 - 18 NPTF… is this the straight adapter that ties those two together

That's what this one does. One end is a male G 3/4-14 BSPP connection and the other is a male 1/4-18 NPTF thread, so it's built specifically to join those two thread standards in a straight-line configuration. Just keep in mind both sides are male, so you'll need female-threaded ports on both ends of whatever you're connecting it to.
