Designed for demanding industrial environments, this carbon steel straight adapter connects a 3/4" NPSM female swivel end to a 7/8" SAE O-Ring Boss male port. The Danfoss / Eaton ADPT FP SWIV M ORing belongs to the Eaton Aeroquip 2066 Series and is built to perform above standard SAE pressure ratings, making it well suited for hydraulic systems where higher working pressures are a requirement.

Dura-Kote plating provides corrosion resistance across a broad range of service conditions, including marine, military, offshore drilling, chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and pulp and paper applications. With a minimum working temperature of -40°F and a 1-1/4" hex on the male end, this adapter offers reliable, repeatable performance across a wide variety of fluid power configurations.

Trying to hook a pipe thread line up to an SAE O-ring boss port, is this the straight adapter for that?

For that kind of connection, it’s a straight adapter that goes from an NPSM female swivel end to an SAE ORB male end.

does this adapter work for connecting NPSM female fittings to SAE O-ring boss ports, or am I lookin at the wrong part?

That's exactly what this one does. One end is 3/4 NPSM female, the other is 7/8 SAE O-ring boss male, so if those are the thread types you're working with, you've got the right adapter. The swivel design on the female end also gives you a little flexibility during installation so you're not fighting alignment.
