Constructed from brass, the 06PL-08FJS Straight Brass fitting from Brennan Industries connects a 3/8 push lock hose barb (ISO 12151) on one end to a 3/4-16 female JIC swivel 37-degree flare (SAE J514) on the other, in a straight configuration. This combination makes it well suited for hydraulic hose assemblies where a push lock barb connection needs to transition to a standard JIC swivel end.

Will this here fitting hold up okay with regular hydraulic fluid?

The brass construction gives it good corrosion resistance with hydraulic fluid, so it should work just fine.

fitting's got a push lock barb on one end and a JIC swivel on the other -- that right? just want to make sure before I order

That's what you've got. One end is a 3/8 push lock hose barb built to ISO 12151, and the other end is a 3/4-16 female JIC swivel with a 37-degree flare per SAE J514. Straight configuration, no angle. If your hose assembly needs to bridge those two connection types, this fitting handles that transition directly.
