Question by: Travis P on Dec 31, 2025, 11:32 AM
trying to match up a hose end, is this one push-lock on one side and a female JIC swivel on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 2, 2026, 6:45 AM
On the hose side, it uses a push lock hose barb per ISO 12151 with a 1/2 B1 size. The other end is a female JIC swivel 37 degree flare per SAE J514 with a 7/8-14 B2 thread.
Question by: Brenda B on Mar 16, 2026, 9:13 AM
Push lock on one end and a JIC swivel on the other, does that mean I can run this straight off a hydraulic hose without needing any extra adapter in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 6:31 AM
For a lot of setups, yeah, that's exactly how it works. The push lock barb end accepts a 1/2 inch hose, and the 7/8-14 female JIC swivel on the other end gives you a 37 degree flare connection that meets SAE J514. As long as your hose is the right size for the push lock barb and your mating fitting is a standard JIC male, you're connecting two things with one piece instead of stacking adapters.
