A straight brass fitting from Brennan Industries' Series 2111, the 10PL-08FJS Straight Brass connects a 5/8" push lock hose barb (ISO 12151) on one end to a 3/4-16 female JIC swivel with a 37-degree flare (SAE J514) on the other. This combination makes it a practical adapter for joining push-lock hose assemblies to JIC-threaded ports in hydraulic circuits.

Machined from brass, the fitting offers reliable corrosion resistance in fluid power applications where steel fittings may not be preferred. The swivel design on the female JIC end allows for easier installation and alignment without requiring the hose or mating component to rotate. Overall length is 2.540", with a hex dimension of 0.875" for standard wrench engagement. California residents should note applicable Prop 65 warnings associated with this product.

So this thing's made of brass, right? How well does that hold up if you're running, say, hydraulic oil through it?

Brass provides decent corrosion resistance for hydraulic oil applications, especially where you'd rather not use steel. It should offer good service life with standard hydraulic fluids.
