Question by: Floyd S on Jun 18, 2025, 6:51 AM
got a 3/8 push lock hose, will this fitting match up with it and still give me 3/8 NPT on the other end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 10:19 AM
For a straight adapter, it pairs a 3/8 inch push lock hose barb (ISO 12151) on one side with a 3/8-18 female NPTF thread (SAE J476) on the other, so it’s meant to go from a 3/8 push lock hose to a 3/8 NPTF male pipe thread connection.
Question by: Bobby P on Jul 21, 2025, 10:18 AM
Does the push lock barb end on this fitting work with standard 3/8 inch hose, or does it need something special to connect up right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 23, 2025, 7:39 AM
Push lock hose barbs are built to slip onto compatible 3/8 inch push lock hose without clamps or extra hardware. The barb end on this fitting follows ISO 12151 specs, so as long as your hose is rated for push lock connection at that size, it should seat and seal without any fuss.

Can this brass fitting handle hydraulic fluid without corroding?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 26, 2026, 9:33 AM
Because it's constructed from brass, this fitting offers good corrosion resistance in industrial settings, making it suitable for use with hydraulic fluids.
