Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this straight hydraulic adapter connects a 3/8" male BSPP thread (G 3/8 - 19) to a 1/2" female BSPP thread (G 1/2 - 14), making it a reliable choice for reducing or adapting BSPP connections in corrosion-sensitive hydraulic circuits. The Stainless 316 Mbspp X Fbspp is an Adaptall product, built to the dimensional standards the brand is known for in the adapter fitting category.
With an overall length of 41.1mm and a 27mm wrench-flat width, the fitting is compact enough for tight installation environments while providing adequate tool engagement during assembly. The 316 stainless construction offers strong resistance to corrosion, making this adapter well suited for marine, food-grade, chemical, or other demanding environments where carbon steel fittings would be unsuitable.

Got a fitting on a saltwater wash-down system that keeps rusting out on me. Would this adapter hold up any better than what I'm running now?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 4, 2025, 8:05 AM
Corrosion resistance is where 316 stainless really earns its keep. Marine environments, constant moisture, saltwater exposure, this material handles all of it far better than carbon steel or even some lower-grade stainless alloys. If rust is eating through your current fitting, swapping to this one should put a stop to that problem.

What size threads does this thing have? I need to connect a 3/8" line to a 1/2" one.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 13, 2026, 4:09 PM
This adapter connects a 3/8" male BSPP thread to a 1/2" female BSPP thread, so it should work for what you're trying to do.

got a straight adapter that’ll go from a 3/8 male BSPP to a 1/2 female BSPP, or am i lookin at the wrong one
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 12, 2025, 6:21 AM
For thread fit, it matches a G 3/8 - 19 male BSPP on one side and a G 1/2 - 14 female BSPP on the other, in a straight adapter body.
