Description & Features

This Eaton Aeroquip straight adapter features a 0.75 NPTF female end and a 0.875 SAE ORB male end. The Internal Pipe /SAE O-Ring Boss adapter is constructed from carbon steel and finished with Dura-Kote plating, providing superior corrosion resistance. It offers design flexibility and withstands higher operating pressures than SAE standards.

Applications include use in marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and off-shore drilling environments. This straight adapter is designed for a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees.

what industries is this adapter actually built for, like is it just general shop use or something more specific?

Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating puts this one squarely in demanding environments. Marine, military, offshore drilling, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and food and beverage are all listed applications, so it handles exposure and pressure well beyond what a standard shop fitting would see.
