What all can this valve be put on? Got a forklift and a skid steer both needing attention and trying to figure out if one part covers both situations.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 4:02 PM
Forklifts are right in the application list for this valve, so that one checks out. Skid steers aren't specifically called out, but the broader category covers excavators, agricultural machinery, truck-mounted cranes, forestry equipment, refuse trucks, and marine setups. If your skid steer application falls under one of those general mobile hydraulic use cases, there's a reasonable chance it fits, but the forklift side of your question is a solid yes.

Reckon this valve could handle the hydraulics on my small backhoe?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 28, 2026, 6:07 AM
Application-wise, this Danfoss/Eaton CLS valve is used in excavators, including smaller sizes, so it should be suitable.
