Designed for demanding mobile equipment, the Danfoss / Eaton CLS101LESDA040040CP000P000Z000AZR0 is a load sense sectional mobile valve built in a mono-block configuration from ductile iron. Its load-sensing architecture supports precise flow management across a range of hydraulic circuits, making it well suited to excavators, forestry machinery, refuse trucks, forklifts, agricultural equipment, truck-mounted cranes, and marine applications.
A key characteristic of this valve assembly is its ability to accommodate both pre- and post-compensated sections within the same unit, providing flexibility in circuit design without requiring separate valve bodies. The compact form factor is suited to machine envelopes where space is limited, and the design contributes to improved circuit responsiveness under variable load conditions. With a product width of 1.5 inches, it fits within tight installation envelopes typical of multi-function mobile platforms.

got a mono-block valve on an older excavator that needs replacing, this CLS101 built the same way or is it a different setup?

Mono-block construction all the way through on this one. The whole assembly is a single body rather than bolted sections, which keeps the footprint tight and makes swapping it in on compact excavator platforms pretty straightforward. At 1.5 inches wide it fits into machine envelopes where space is already spoken for, so if your current valve is running a similar form factor, this should slot in without a lot of reworking.
