Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Steve E on Oct 24, 2025, 3:26 PM
valve's made from ductile iron -- does that hold up alright in something like a forestry machine or refuse truck where it's gettin beat on pretty regular?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 9:50 AM
Ductile iron is a solid choice for exactly those kinds of environments. It handles shock and vibration better than standard cast iron, which is why it shows up in heavy mobile equipment. Forestry machines and refuse trucks are both listed applications for this valve, so it's built with that kind of abuse in mind.
Question by: Warren W on Mar 26, 2026, 4:25 PM
Reckon this valve setup would hold up okay on a forestry machine, you think? We run them pretty hard.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 28, 2026, 7:36 AM
Designed for robust applications, the Danfoss / Eaton CLS valves are built to withstand demanding environments, making them suitable for forestry machinery. They're made from durable ductile iron.
