Designed for straight inline connections in hydraulic lines, the #2 X #2 MJIC Union is a steel fitting that joins two Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare ends of the same size. Both threaded ends conform to SAE J514 and measure 5/16-24, making this a symmetric union suited for #2 JIC tubing assemblies where a direct male-to-male connection is required.

Manufactured by Brennan Industries from straight steel construction, this fitting carries a maximum dynamic pressure rating of 7,500 PSI. Got two male JIC ends that need joining up and ain't got a female coupler in the mix, this the right piece for that situation?

That's what this union is built for. Both ends are 5/16-24 male JIC with a 37-degree flare, so it bridges two male fittings of the same size without needing a female connection in between. As long as you're working with #2 JIC tubing on both sides, this is your part.
