trying to swap fittings on a hose, is this the straight adapter that goes from 9/16-18 JIC male down to 7/16-20 JIC male?

It is a straight male JIC 37 degree flare on both ends with SAE J514 threads. One side is 9/16-18 (B1) and the other is 7/16-20 (B2), so it works as a step-down between those two male JIC sizes.
