got a hose end with 1-5/16-12 JIC on it, and i need to step down to 3/4-16. is this the right straight adapter?

For that size change, it matches up. One end is a male JIC 37 degree flare in 1-5/16-12 (SAE J514) and the other end is a male JIC 37 degree flare in 3/4-16 (SAE J514), in a straight steel adapter body.
