Designed for reducing inline connections in hydraulic lines, the #16 X #10 MJIC Union is a straight steel reducer fitting that joins two male JIC threads of different sizes, a 1-5/16-12 (#16) end and a 7/8-14 (#10) end, both conforming to the SAE 37-degree flare standard per SAE J514. Just makin' sure, this here union fitting will let me hook up a #16 JIC to a #10 JIC, right?

That's right. This steel union connects a 1-5/16-12 (#16) male JIC to a 7/8-14 (#10) male JIC, both with that 37-degree flare.
