got a couple hose ends with 1-5/16-12 JIC fittings on both sides and need a union-style connection between em, this the right piece for that?

both ends on this adapter are 1-5/16-12 male JIC with a 37-degree flare, so if your hose ends are female JIC on both sides, this straight union will bridge them just fine.
